Progress – 2 weeks 12-12-3-30

Sooooo I’ve had a ton of you message me, with kindness and encouragement and also saying you’re feeling inspired by me sharing this journey! That’s awesome!

So here’s the first 2 week picture progress report!

I’m so stoked. I couldn’t even see it, but side by side I see it! My waist is trimmer, my abs are poking through, and my arms and legs are leaning out. Wooo!

I’m stoked on the 12 lb back pack because I sweat buckets. And I imagine I had a lot of water retention. Which is maybe why i look muscular suddenly!? So FYI just know I’ve always been an athlete and trained hard,,, (even earned a Division 1 Soccer Scholarship …so the blue print for fitness is somewhat there ) ,, but I’ve never trained cardio like this with a 12lb back pack!

& Let’s talk about food. You guys. I don’t eat super poorly. And I don’t eat super well. I’m in between! I suffer from ‘I eat whatever I want when I want!’ LOL! Who can relate?

I’ve done intermittent fasting in the past and have had it work, as well as anti-inflammatory diets, but for me, this treadmill workout is super sustainable, whereas the diets I find I fall off for a multitude of reasons.

Anyhow, I want to say, regarding the before and after pix, I have not changed my food intake much!!! Which was the point of this experiment for me personally! My goal is to maximize the amount of weightloss, with the least amount of effort, for my personal sensibilities! Bear in mind my sensibilities may not be yours!!

For instance, here’s a snapshot of what I might eat on the daily:

Breakfast: 2 rice cakes, with peanut butter and banana on each, coffee w/ milk or almond milk

Mid morning: 4-8 oz yogurt smoothie – non fat or zero fat Greek yogurt with frozen blueberries and pineapple typically

Lunch: 1 portion salad/sushi/soup/sandwich whatever etc , maybe a coffee with milk or almond milk

Dinner: 1 portion salad/sushi/soup/sandwich/ noodles whatever etc, even a cheeseburger here and there. (Admittedly I ate a double double the other day and half a thing of fries.)

Dessert: dark chocolate (have you had that honey mamas stuff? OMG), or two cookies or maybe 4-6oz ice cream or yogurt – I don’t go crazy but I like sweets! I have a really big treat-tooth, so I don’t deprive myself. Lol. I imagine I’d get slimmer faster if I did. But I love dessert!!!! Lol.

I’d rather workout twice a day if I have to, than go without yummies! ya know? How about you?

Anyhow. Supplements, I’m not taking a ton, but I do try to take magnesium everyday, fish oil, a women’s multi, and sometimes I take herbs. Here are some cool ones I have been playing with:

This is so great. I take it every other night before bed, and it makes me feel so good! LOVE this product.
This one, be really careful with, first take it on a Friday or Saturday! …I maybe take it every other night before bed and it has helped so much with bloating! Couldn’t recommend enough if that is a challenge of yours. – Check out their whole site for whatever are your challenges!

Other things at the gym:

•I am jogging 2-3 minutes at the end of my walks, for lymphatic drainage!

•Doing a little bit of Russian twists, like 5 sets of 20 with a 45 lb weight.

•Also leg presses, similar 3-5 sets of 8-15 at about 110-150, just depends.

•Lots of stretching!

I should probably get consistent with the leg presses, but trying to see what works for me!

Anyhow. That’s it. That’s the TEA.

Lemme know your thoughts!! And I hope everyone hits the gym to try this!!

It’s so EASY and so satisfying, and so good for your health!

& I’ve linked to the 12lb back pack below!!! Get it. Get there. Xo
